Tommy Adkins Takes MVP Trophy Friday, May 22nd , 2065 Tommy Adkins of the Nevada Las Vegas Rebels had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2065. The 17-year-old third baseman put up a .397 average and a .471 on-base percentage, piling up 73 hits, 16 doubles, 2 triples, 24 home runs, 50 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 24. Marcus Schlamp of the Rice Owls finished second in voting, while Rayford Kimmons of the UCLA Bruins finished third.
