2059 Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Announced Friday, May 23rd , 2059 The 2059 Outstanding Pitcher Award in the NCAA has been given to Max Kidd of the North Carolina Tarheels. The Tarheels ace worked 50.2 innings this season, crafting a 4-1 record and a 1.07 ERA in 10 starts. Kidd collected 55 strikeouts while walking 11 and limiting opponents to a .192 batting average. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Levi Stephens of the UCLA Bruins finished second in voting, while Maxwell Lancaster of the Clemson Tigers finished third.
