2059 Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Announced

The 2059 Outstanding Pitcher Award in the NCAA has been given to Max Kidd of the North Carolina Tarheels.

The Tarheels ace worked 50.2 innings this season, crafting a 4-1 record and a 1.07 ERA in 10 starts. Kidd collected 55 strikeouts while walking 11 and limiting opponents to a .192 batting average.

He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Levi Stephens of the UCLA Bruins finished second in voting, while Maxwell Lancaster of the Clemson Tigers finished third.
