Clemson Moves on to College World Series Saturday, May 3rd , 2059 It took a while, but the Clemson Tigers finally disposed of the Oklahoma Sooners 10-2 in the series clincher at L. Dale Mitchell Baseball Park. Winning the finale gave the Tigers the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the College World Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Clemson shortstop Jay Sharpe. He batted .357 in the series, collecting 9 RBIs and scoring 4 runs.
