Sooners Win Regionals Sunday, April 27th , 2059 It was a rousing finish to the Regionals at L. Dale Mitchell Baseball Park today. The Oklahoma Sooners sent the UCLA Bruins home for the season with a 7-5 win in the decisive game of the series. The Sooners took the series 2-1. Up next on their schedule is the Super Regionals. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Oklahoma third baseman Erik Gripka. His numbers included a .333 batting average, 3 RBIs and 4 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Super Regionals," he said. The Super Regionals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Regionals finishes.
