North Carolina Takes Regionals in Deciding Game Sunday, April 27th , 2059 The North Carolina Tarheels and Pacific Tigers hooked up in a classic Regionals that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's North Carolina heading off to the Super Regionals, after a 1-0 win at Ballpark of Charlotte College tonight earned the 2-1 series win. Outside Ballpark of Charlotte College, whether they were supporters of North Carolina or Pacific, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Jeromy Cardenas played the hero for the Tarheels in the series, as his MVP performance included a .333 batting average, with a .429 on-base percentage.
