USC Sweeps into the College World Series Monday, May 1st , 2062 It's a sweet sweep for the USC Trojans and they have won the Super Regionals. The Nevada Las Vegas Rebels were not able to keep pace with the Trojans and dropped the series in short order, losing 4-1 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Nevada Las Vegas manager Fred Jaycox. It's now on to the College World Series for USC after their 2-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was center fielder Nathaniel Lockman, who was named MVP. For the series, Lockman hit .500 with a .556 on-base percentage.
