Wildcats Win Super Regionals Sunday, May 2nd , 2060 The joy and relief on the faces of the Arizona Wildcats players was obvious as they celebrated their Super Regionals win over the Oklahoma Sooners. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Arizona right fielder Lucas Doyle, shortly after the 7-0 win that clinched the series 2-1. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the College World Series. Doyle won series MVP honors on the strength of his .455 batting average during the series. He also had a .500 on-base percentage and 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. The College World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Super Regionals finishes.
