Titans Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, April 13th , 2062 When a team loses its shot at a College World Series championship, it's "the worst day of the year," said Cal State Fullerton Titans manager Kaleb Purvis. That day has now come for Cal State Fullerton, as they were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Cal State Fullerton last appeared in the postseason in 2058. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 35 times in their 75 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Titans have missed the playoffs 4 times. Cal State Fullerton has won the College World Series 2 times in their history. |
