Tarheels Heading to Regionals Monday, April 21st , 2059 The North Carolina Tarheels are heading to the Regionals, having narrowly defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys. North Carolina edged Oklahoma State in the series 2-1, with a win at Ballpark of Charlotte College in the clinching game by a 4-0 margin. Dominic Bedolla turned in a strong offensive performance for the Tarheels and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a College World Series win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Bedolla continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .571 with a .571 on-base percentage.
