Clemson Moves on to Regionals Saturday, April 19th , 2059 The Oregon Ducks were simply overmatched by the Clemson Tigers in the Sweet 16. The end result was a sweep, as Clemson has cruised to the Regionals, with the final win coming at Golden Eagles Ballpark by a score of 8-3. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Brendan Stafford, who was named MVP of the Sweet 16. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Stafford hit .375 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.
