Borchelt Punishes NCAA Pitchers This Week Monday, March 30th , 2065 Marshall Borchelt is respected by most Rice Owls fans for his no-frills style of play. The 17-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the NCAA Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .476 average (10-for-21) with 5 home runs, 6 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the season, Borchelt is hitting .321, batted in 28 runs with 14 home runs and 33 runs scored. |
