League Suspends Johnson and Beckett for Fisticuffs Saturday, March 6th , 2060 Chase Johnson of Long Beach State and Noel Beckett of Oregon State were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Johnson will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Beckett was given 9 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season Johnson is batting at a .393 clip with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. This season-to-date Beckett has 1 win and 1 loss and a 6.64 ERA. |
