Arroyo Wins HL Player of the Week Honors Monday, May 12th, 2042 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Herbert League, but last week Gabe Arroyo of the Aberdeen Ironbirds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Arroyo rocked opposing pitching for a .560 average (14-for-25), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. On the year Arroyo has hit .379 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 17 runs. |
