Chilies Win Wild Card Wednesday, September 12th, 2046 Latif Won said he expected the Wild Card to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Fresno Chilies encountered little resistance in sweeping the Vicksburg Dirtbags, to advance to the Divisional Series. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Won. Fresno won the final game by a 4-0 count and were led in the series by Won, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .429 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
