Vicksburg Celebrates Wild Card Win Sunday, September 9th, 2046 The manager of the Vicksburg Dirtbags is reminding the city of Vicksburg to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Jimmy Williamson. "We know we can get Vicksburg rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Dirtbags will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said reliever Adric Mrekhe. If the team is successful, it would be the 2nd Bush League championship in franchise history. |
