HL Announces Outstanding Pitcher Award Tuesday, October 17th , 2062 The Herbert League announced today that Jakob Dawson has been chosen the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2062. The Lexington hurler had everything working for him as he cruised to an outstanding 13-3 record. Dawson put up an impressive 2.18 ERA in his award-winning season. He started 24 times, worked 157 innings, yielded 139 hits, walked 25, fanned 127 and held opposing hitters to a .240 average. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Powell Nogami of the Barre Grays finished second in voting, while Shawn Watson of the Vancouver Mounties finished third.
