Palmettos Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, September 8th, 2040 A close finish won't make it any easier for the Cienfuegos Palmettos to end their season early. The club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the 2040 season. "There were some things broken and some things said that are not repeatable," Palmettos manager Tom Hale. Before this season, the Palmettos last missed the playoffs in 2035. In the 23 years they have been a Bush League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 6 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 0 times. Cienfuegos last won the Bush Championship in 2038. |
