Moore Batters Miramar for 5 Hits Saturday, May 24th , 2059 It was high-fives all around for Dawson Moore at Hammer Park today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Miramar Mavericks. Moore smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 20-0 win. "Dawson was hitting everything," said Yellowhammers manager R.J. Cheek. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Mavericks manager Dave Puckett told BNN beat writers that Moore "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Moore oversleeps next time." Dawson Moore walked in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
