League Suspends Ayala and Hoon for Brawl Monday, May 21st , 2063 If there wasn't a history between Nat Ayala of Eagle River and Nic Hoon of Rockford, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Ayala said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Hoon has taken the mound for 13 relief appearances this season, nailing down 4 saves while notching a 1-1 record with a 2.01 ERA. The Rockford reliever has limited opposing batters to a .177 batting average. |
