Yellowhammers End Franklin's Streak Tuesday, May 15th , 2063 Tristan Franklin of the Miramar Mavericks came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 5 at-bats for the first time in 23 games. Making matters even worse for the second baseman, Miramar dropped the game to the Tuscaloosa Yellowhammers 7-2. "It was not a good day today," Franklin told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." So far on the season Franklin is hitting .275 with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 25 hits and played in 22 games. |
