Blake McIlvoy Out for Season Friday, April 30th , 2060 The season is ending on a bad note for Blake McIlvoy, starting pitcher for the Frederick Stars. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. McIlvoy was hurt against the Oklahoma City 89'ers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 8 months. This year McIlvoy has gone 1-1 with an ERA of 1.23 and has 11 strikeouts in 7.1 innings. |
