Guthrie Week's Best Player Monday, July 4th, 2044 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the The Mash, but last week Billy Guthrie of the Calgary Cowboys reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Guthrie rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (12-for-24), 3 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. Guthrie is hitting .304 this year with 7 home runs and 20 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .366, 9 walks and scored 17 times. |
