WORT Honors Salcido, Best Hitter in June Friday, July 1st, 2044 Jebediah Salcido made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the The Wort this past month. The Auburn Venom right fielder shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .283 with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 20 runs scored. For the year Salcido has hit at a .304 clip with 60 RBIs, 22 home runs and 55 runs scored. |
