Shorebirds Win Lautering Trophy Crown Monday, September 27th , 2060 The Myrtle Beach Shorebirds were good enough to get past the Fort Lee Generals at Lubbock Grounds today and secure the 6th championship in franchise history. "When you wear Shorebirds on your shirt, you're good at something," Myrtle Beach skipper Norm Downward told the press. Shorebirds catcher Jaxon Guest was named MVP of the series after he went .500 with no home runs and 1 run batted in. "It feels totally incredible," Guest said.
