Cardinals Advance to Lautering Trophy Monday, September 22nd , 2064 The Bloomington Cardinals outclassed the Moncton Mohawks in all facets of the game throughout the MASH League Championship. The end result was a Bloomington series sweep to advance to the Lautering Trophy, capped off by a 7-3 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said center fielder Dave Arnett, who hit .714 in the series. Arnett's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .778 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Lautering Trophy matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes.
