Fort Lee's McCarthy Elbows His Way to WORT Award Tuesday, October 14th , 2059 This year the The Wort spotlight fell on Joel McCarthy of the Fort Lee Generals. What a 2059 season he had! A fine 10-3 won-lost record, 2.14 ERA, 20 starts, 134.2 innings and 140 strikeouts -- a season good enough to earn him the WORT Outstanding Pitcher Award. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24.
