WORT Manager of the Year Award Given to Miller Monday, October 13th , 2059 The Fort Lee Generals called a press conference to announce that field manager Jimmy Miller had been named The Wort Manager of the Year earlier in the day. Staffers congratulated the 63-year-old baseball guru as he approached the podium. "This city has allowed me to craft a winning ball club," said Miller. "When you take on a new job, there's always some adjustment period, but everyone here has been cooperative. From the bat boys on up. Here's to many more successful seasons for the Fort Lee Generals!" Miller led Fort Lee to a 84-36 record this year and a first place finish in the The Wort Hops Division. |
