The Mash Selects Manager of the Year Monday, October 13th , 2059 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of R.J. Cheek, he seems to have taken the Tuscaloosa Yellowhammers to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the The Mash for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Cheek led Tuscaloosa to a first place finish in the The Mash Yeast Division. The Yellowhammers ended up with a 72-48 record. |
