League Gives Williams Suspension
Tuesday, September 2nd , 2059
The league office has taken action against San Diego left fielder John Williams for inappropriate action and aggressive conduct in the Dolphins game against the Bar Harbor Islanders. He has been issued a 3-game suspension.

Williams was ejected from the game yesterday after arguing a called third strike. He first argued with the plate umpire. Then Williams moved up the first-base line, waving his fists at the umpire as the dispute continued. As he left the field, he also argued with the crew chief, who was umpiring at third base. His manager finally convinced him to leave the field as the umpires were threatening to forfeit the game.

Batting .227 to date, Williams has 8 home runs and 37 RBIs.
