Player of the Week Trophy to Sighel Monday, August 18th , 2059 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the The Mash, but last week Carnell Sighel of the Harrisburg Capitals reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Sighel rocked opposing pitching for a .529 average (9-for-17), 5 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Sighel is presently hitting at a .326 pace with 11 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 22 games and scored 16 times. |
