Season Possibly Over for Mohammad Keown Monday, August 4th , 2059 The season is finished for Mohammad Keown of the Myrtle Beach Shorebirds. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Shorebirds starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the San Francisco Seals. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. In 19 starts this season Keown has registered a 4-7 record and a 3.75 ERA. |
