1B Beasley Reaches Agreement with Canadians Monday, January 5th , 2054 The Toronto front office announced the signing of Peter Beasley today as the team's new first baseman. The 26-year-old came to terms with the Canadians and will be hauling in $7,500,000 a year over 5 years. Beasley has played in 445 games with a .315 career batting average and 458 hits.
