Schultz Crushes 3 Homers Against Philadelphia

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Kennedy Field at Metropolitan Stadium buzzing, New York Knights first baseman Andy Schultz blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 14-1 win over the Philadelphia Freedom.
"Everything was clicking," Schultz told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Schultz shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 3 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Knights manager Tom Campbell said. "Andy played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Andy Schultz hit a two-run home run off Brett Brendle in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Brett Brendle in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Phil Karlin in the 4th, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
Thus far this season Schultz is hitting .256 with 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 11 hits in 43 at-bats and has played in 18 games.
