Toronto-Baltimore Trade: Goodbred for Brewer Monday, May 2nd, 2044 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Toronto Canadians and Baltimore Bulldogs has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 26-year-old RF Mitchell Goodbred to Baltimore in return for 22-year-old minor league LHP L.J. Brewer and a 1st round draft pick. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. This year Goodbred is batting .359 with 6 home runs. He has scored 12 runs and driven in 20. |
