Pittsburgh's Ismael Busbee Injured Sunday, May 22nd , 2050 The Pittsburgh Millers learned that Ismael Busbee is likely to be out for 6 weeks after he injured himself being hit by a pitch in today's game against the Montreal Exports. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a fractured wrist. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Pittsburgh manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Ismael is back in action." Busbee is batting at a .245 pace this season, picking up 27 hits in 110 at-bats with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
