Injury Sidelines Demetrius Insua for Season
Monday, April 18th, 2044
The doctors have spoken and Demetrius Insua of the New York Knights didn't like what he heard. The 38-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Insua sustained his season-ending injury during the Batavia Red Jackets game yesterday at Kennedy Field at Metropolitan Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the New York medical staff reported Insua had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8 months.
