Meeks 5-for-5 for Freedom Wednesday, April 13th, 2044 Wyatt Meeks had an answer for everything the Hartford Whalers threw at him today at Samuel Stone Memorial Field. The Philadelphia third baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Freedom on top, 9-2. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Meeks said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Wyatt Meeks singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
