20-Game Hitting Streak for Jordan Saturday, April 9th, 2044 Arthur Jordan, right fielder for the Pittsburgh Millers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 10-1 victory today over the Dallas Drillers at Kennywood Park today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Arthur Jordan grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. Thus far this year Jordan has hit .458 with no home runs and 1 RBIs. |
