League Punishes Pair for Fighting Thursday, May 8th, 2042 Ron Hutchison of the Batavia Red Jackets and Ian Hopman of the Los Angeles Dinos will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Red Jackets-Dinos game at Lawrence Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Hutchison and Hopman will begin serving them soon. In 20 games Hutchison is hitting .253 this season with 19 hits, 7 home runs, 19 RBIs, 4 walks, .293 OBP and has scored 12 runs. Currently Hopman has a 1-1 won-lost record in 6 starts with a 4.21 ERA. He also has 23 strikeouts in 36.1 innings. |
