Kodiaks Prevail, as Wild Card Goes to the Wire Thursday, October 10th , 2052 Depending on your loyalties, the Wild Card was either thrilling or heartbreaking. The series went down to its final game, with the California Kodiaks and the Baltimore Bulldogs giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Kodiaks came out on top, winning 5-2 at In-N-Out Field today to take the series 3-2. "We're lucky to be going into the Divisional Series," said California pitcher Reid Cole. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason." Cole earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .400 average, with 0 home runs, 1 RBI and 5 runs scored.
