Red-Hot McIntyre Scorches Pilots Saturday, September 28th , 2052 It was high-fives all around for John McIntyre at Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower Field today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Seattle Pilots. McIntyre smashed 5 hits in 9 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 8-7 win. "John was hitting everything," said Freedom manager Angelo Lujan. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Pilots manager Masuho Ogawa told BNN beat writers that McIntyre "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, McIntyre oversleeps next time." John McIntyre grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Cayden Wittmeyer in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, grounded out in the 11th, struck out in the 13th, doubled in the 15th and singled in the 17th.
