Pilots Wittmeyer Fans 15 Tobs Sunday, October 11th , 2054 Everything was working for Cayden Wittmeyer today at The Port of Seattle. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The fastball was working. In an unforgettable performance, the 29-year-old Wittmeyer fanned 15 Tobs and sparked the Seattle Pilots to a 7-2 victory over Carolina. He left Tobs hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Seattle manager Masuho Ogawa. "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 8 innings, Wittmeyer allowed 6 hits and 1 walk in a superlative outing. "I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Wittmeyer said with a smile.
