The Math Says - Denver Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 26th , 2052 A late-season playoff push is not in the cards for the Denver Bulls. The club today was mathematically knocked out of playoff contention. "There are a lot of long faces around right now," said Bulls manager Tom Mare. "You know in your head that every year, most teams in baseball have to go through this, but it still hurts when you realize you've lost your shot at a title." Before this season, the Bulls last missed the playoffs in 2050. In the 75 years they have been a Brewers League Baseball franchise, they have missed the playoffs 58 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Bulls have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
