Dunkin's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Wednesday, June 8th, 2044 The Hartford Whalers will have to do without second baseman Andy Dunkin even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Dunkin's recovery from a forearm strain has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Whalers trainer indicated it would be at least 4 days before they would consider activating Dunkin. This season Dunkin is batting .253 with 9 RBIs, 12 runs scored and 2 home runs. |
