Millers Gil Mandell Wins DL Award Monday, August 15th, 2039 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Gil Mandell was rewarded with the Domestic League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Pittsburgh Millers first baseman hit .464 while collecting 13 hits in 28 at-bats, 6 home runs and 11 RBIs. So far this year Mandell is hitting .317 with 28 home runs. |
