Emerson Hits for the Cycle Monday, August 5th , 2058 The Los Angeles Dinos topped the Maine Guides by a score of 5-2 at Old Port Park today but all the talk was on first baseman Sage Emerson. The Los Angeles star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. Emerson went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 3 RBI and 1 run scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Emerson said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in." Sage Emerson tripled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Malik Smith in the 9th.
