Whitaker Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, May 28th, 2044 All game long, Philadelphia's Johnny Whitaker was rattling the walls at Jurassic Park and banging out base hits against the Los Angeles Dinos. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Freedom had a 7-6 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 28-year-old shortstop said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Johnny Whitaker doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
