San Francisco Takes Wild Card in Deciding Game
In a series that had a little bit of everything, the San Francisco Seals have edged the Bloomington Cardinals.

The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Wild Card, with a 3-2 win in the clincher being the difference for San Francisco and giving them the ticket to the Divisional Series with a 2-1 series triumph.

"We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Kyle Phipps, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Phipps hit .444 with a .583 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
