Garvin Goes on Rampage Against Tarheels
It was a big day for Oscar Garvin and he brought the Miami Hurricanes along for the ride.

Garvin led his club to victory, 11-6, over the North Carolina Tarheels at Ballpark of Charlotte College, smoking North Carolina pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 17-year-old third baseman later called the victory "sweet."

Oscar Garvin hit a two-run home run off Doron Kelly in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Lewis Velasco in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
