Washington Drops Denver, 4-1
|
Washington used a superb performance from starting pitcher Justin Casey to down the Denver Bulls, 4-1. Picking up the save was Stanley Olson. He's now 1 for 1 in save chances. The Bats bumped their record to 79-66 with this latest triumph.
Washington relied on the hitting of Neall Rabah to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bats on top, 2-0. For the game, Rabah had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I have a really good team behind me," Casey said. "I trust them 100 percent."
