The Santo Domingo Rum Runners topped the Indianapolis Clowns, 8-3, in Domestic League action at The Big Top. The game was highlighted by the performance of Santo Domingo pitcher Rice Cochell. The winning pitcher was Cochell, now 11-6. He tossed 5.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 6 and fanning 8. Earning his 1st save of the year was Drew Haffner.

Ronald Anderson hit a run-scoring triple off Billy Zook in the top of the third, which put the Rum Runners in front, 2-1. In addition to the triple, Anderson had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
